Now the new measures have been announced, revising the list of overseas controlled products. This includes the addition of textiles and apparel fabrics to the list of products subject to the control of origin. And obtain a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to enter the Moroccan market. This proof must be presented upon arrival of the goods and is required before the goods are cleared through customs.

For industrial products controlled in Morocco, conformity assessment of products found to be non-compliant after the first sampling control may be subject to a second analysis at the request of the importer. The ministry stipulates that the measure will be approved on the condition that it consists of two samples and that the test results must meet the requirements. In addition, if at least one of the two results proves to be non-compliant, the item will not be allowed to enter the market.

 

 

 

 

How to apply for a Moroccan COC certificate?
Step 1: Fill in the application form, and provide a packing list and invoice.
Step 2: Send samples to test the product.
Step 3: Arrange the inspection after passing the review, and there will be a special person to connect with you if you meet the requirements of the experience, so as to ensure that the company passes the inspection at one time. The inspection is mainly based on visual inspection to check whether the packaging and labels of the products meet the requirements of the port of destination.
Step 4: After the inspection is completed, it can be shipped, provide the final packing list, invoice stamping documents, and issue a certificate
Where to apply for the Moroccan COC certificate? : How much does it cost
a. The exporter submits the certification application form
b. The COC National Office reviews the certification application form/certification documents

 

 

 

application process:
1. The COC National Office assigns designated inspectors to perform on-site inspections
2. Perform bulk sampling test
3. The COC national office issues the final certificate of conformity (CoC)

 

Information to be prepared for Kenya COC certification:
1. Packing List
2. Proforma Invoice
3. IDF: Import license, which is handled by the importer in the importing country, and provided to the exporter to handle PVOC after it is completed
4. Product test report: Those who already have a test report do not need to repeat the test, except for the sample test.
5. PVOC application form: the blank application form is provided by the handling agency
