Is it convenient to apply for the Morocco COC certificate, and what procedures are required?

Conceptually speaking, the COC certificate refers to the relevant inspection of the product before shipment, and the certificate issued when it meets the regulations. After arriving at the destination, the customs will require the trader to provide the corresponding COC certificate during customs clearance. The Moroccan COC certificate is based on the corresponding product inspection certificate submitted before entering the Moroccan market when the product is qualified.

To apply for the Moroccan COC certificate, you need to provide the following information;

Packing list, proforma invoice, import license, product test report, and corresponding COC application form. Among them, the import license is handled by the importer, who applies for the corresponding license in his own country, and then provides it to the exporter, and then applies for the corresponding POVC certificate. In addition to the sampling test outside the regulations, if the product already has a test report, then there is no need for repeated testing.

Morocco COC certificate application process

1. The exporter finds an authoritative organization for sample testing
2. After the sample test is qualified, we can arrange the inspection of the product before shipment.
3. After passing the inspection, the packing can be completed, and the documents provided by the third-party testing agency must be reviewed, and the entire product on board should be inspected by visual inspection, so as to whether the way of labeling to the outer packaging is in compliance Morocco’s local standard regulations.
4. Obtain Morocco COC certificate

In the process of exporting products, exporters need to understand the local import regulations of Morocco, so as to implement strict requirements in the production process, so that basically there will be no major problems in the formal application process.
