What is SABER Certificate and how to get it

SABER Certificate

Two certification marks could interest any business exporting products to Saudi Arabia – the SASO Quality Mark and the Gulf Mark.

The use of the SASO Quality mark can be licensed for the products of a company that has an effective administrative system, which can ensure that the production of a product is in ongoing conformity with the Saudi standards. In addition, companies must comply with the provisions of the general technical regulations of the Quality Mark and the granting procedure of the product.

Interestingly, once an enterprise has received the license, the company can add products to the license and even cancel the license at any time.

cb: The IECEE CB scheme, or CB scheme for short, is an international system for the mutual recognition of test results and certificates relating to the safety of electrical and electronic components, operating equipment and products.

saudi arabia saber: Enforced on January 1, 2019, SABER is a comprehensive system introduced by SASO and has replaced the old system for issuing SASO Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for goods exported to Saudi Arabia.

rcm: Local responsible supplier required for any ACMA RCM applicable product. Suppliers of products under the ERAC scope must have an ABN in order to register as suppliers. Products not under the ERAC scope can be supplied through a local RCM supplier agent acting on their behalf.

saa: Australian standards bodies of Standards Association of Australian, so many of my friends called the Australian certification SAA certification. SAA is actually just standard-setting bodies, without issuing product certification. SAA and later renamed: Standards Australia Limited.

kenya pvoc: The Kenyan Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has introduced the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) to Standards Program to ensure the quality of products, which must also meet health, safety and environmental standards for Kenyans.

UKCA: The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessment) mark is the new UK product marking that will be required for certain products being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most products that previously required the CE mark.

kuwait kucas: The scheme is a set of procedures carried out by PAI to verify the conformity of all ‘Regulated Products’ to Kuwait’s Technical Regulations applicable to imported and domestic products alike in accordance with the regulations of this scheme.

morocco coc: Moroccan Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy (MCINET) recently established a ‘Verification of Conformity (VoC)’ program to certify that products imported into Morocco comply with the national regulations for product quality and safety.

uganda coc: Inspection of imports coming into Uganda is one of the UNBS mandates that emerged from the UNBS Act Cap 327 which became operational in 1989. Import Inspection duties entail enforcing the requirements of the Uganda standards in order to protect the health and safety of the public and the environment against dangerous and sub-standard products.

IECEE: The SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate is a Saudi Arabian conformity initiative set up by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
