GSO GCC Certificate

GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) announced the official launching of the GSO Certificate Tracking System. The system offers pertinent information to the relevant authorities responsible for border control and market surveillance in GSO member states.

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is a regional intergovernmental union consisting of seven Arab countries – the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, State of Qatar, Kuwait, and the Republic of Yemen.

As part of the economic integration policy, GCC has developed, implemented, and maintained its own standards and technical regulation which is governed by Gulf Standardisation Organisation (GSO). In order to ensure the safety and quality of the goods entering the GSO member states, the GSO has had in place technical regulations supporting its GCC Conformity programs.

ghana coc: Under the EasyPASS Programme, shipments to Ghana will require testing and inspection to the Ghanaian standards or applicable equivalent International standards in order to obtain a CoC from an Approved Body. The CoC is a compulsory requirement to obtain Customs clearance of goods into Ghana.

GCC: GCC is the acronym for Gulf Cooperation Council in the Gulf. The Gulf Cooperation Council was established in Abu Dhabi, UAE on May 25, 1981. Its member states are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Bahrain, and 7 Yemen.

cb: The IECEE CB scheme, or CB scheme for short, is an international system for the mutual recognition of test results and certificates relating to the safety of electrical and electronic components, operating equipment and products.

IECEE: The SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate is a Saudi Arabian conformity initiative set up by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.

kenya pvoc: The Kenyan Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has introduced the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) to Standards Program to ensure the quality of products, which must also meet health, safety and environmental standards for Kenyans.

reach: REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.

eac: The EAC Certificate of conformity confirms that devices comply with the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Community (EURASEC).Products that bear the EAC Mark have all passed the conformity assessment procedures in one of the

egypt coi pvoc: GOEIC – General Organization of Export and Import Control, require that all producers, manufacturers, exporters register their products and issue a certificate of inspection ( COI ) – by an approved GOEIC partner to access the Egyptian markets & pass the Egyptian custom, all regulated products were listed in the ministerial decree No. 991/2015 – 992/2015 – 43/2016.

rohs: RoHS means “Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances” in the “Hazardous Substances Directive” in electrical and electronic equipment. This restriction is anchored in EU Directive 2011/65 / EU. If a product is RoHS-certified, this confirms that the proportion of hazardous, or difficult to dispose substances is limited to the maximum allowed.
